February Musings

Greetings All,

Tuft

It surely looks and feels like stormy weather coming on. I’ve just finished cleaning the chicken coop, figuring the better part of valor was to get it done before slip sliding down the pathway- perhaps under the wheelbarrow full of you-know-what.

Anyway, throughout my shoveling I heard the familiar territorial call of the tufted titmouse. Though my hands were freezing, the tingle of spring warmed my thoughts. I am anticipating my favorite whistle from Mr. Cardinal any day now.

I see a change in we humans, too. Customers already have that “itch” and are purchasing loads of seeds and seed starting supplies. It’s a wonderful thing, that constancy of seasons, especially of spring! Wait a minute though…

It’s Superbowl LV! Go Buccs! I just can’t help it… Do it, Brady!

That’s it for now.
