🚨Notice on Safe ‘N Simple Lawn Care Products🚨
Hi folks, we wanted to give you an update on Blue Seal’s Safe ‘N Simple lawn care products.
Kent Nutrition/Blue Seal has made the regrettable decision to discontinue our much beloved Safe ‘N Simple Weed Control and Lawn Food. We strongly disagree with this decision and have voiced our disagreement. Should you wish to express your opinion, please contact Kent Nutrition’s customer service line: 1-866-647-1212.
With this said, we love natural lawn care and have experienced its many benefits firsthand: a healthier lawn and environment with no worry of harmful ingredients. Even with the short notice regarding this discontinuation, we have been working diligently to find suitable replacements with natural and organic ingredients that we can stand behind.
We will be providing a new lawn care program using Espoma’s organic Weed Preventer, and their organic All Season Turf-Tone Lawn Food. The weed preventer is still 100% corn gluten, and will function the same as before (though please note, that the bags will be smaller. 1 bag will cover 1,250 square feet). The Turf-Tone Lawn Food is comprised of new ingredients, but remains natural, and is now certified organic with an analysis of 9-0-1.
We are working hard on this transition, and are doing our best to get the most competitive prices possible, but we do want to be forthcoming in that the price of the program will increase (prices have not been set yet). This is in part due to the cost of having this product certified organic. Fear not, we will be offering a deal on our lawn care program, as we have done for the last 30 years.
We will continue to keep you informed of updates. Know that we are here for you and with you as we navigate these changes. We will continue to advocate for natural lawn and garden care–providing options that are good for your lawn, for your family, and for the earth.

OK folks, here’s the hard truth: lawns are a cultivated crop. If you have doubts, look around you to see what New Hampshire does best- SHE GROWS FORESTS! Our soils are poor supporters of grassland and agriculture; that’s why our farmers uprooted and headed west. We hear testimonials all the time from customers, but it is a process and takes some patience. We love and have used this program for many years.
